Quirky questions at reference today

I had a couple of unusual questions today at ref desk. First, a lady asked me about books about Satan and Lucifer. Unfortunately, her card was blocked so she could not check the books out.
Then, a gentleman approached me with a copy of what looked like "The Declaration of Independence." He said he wanted to authenticate the value of the document. I felt we didn't have the resources so I gave him the phone numbers to some local area museums as well as the Truman Library in Independence, MO. I didn't have the heart to tell him that I thought his document was not worth much.
