In support of AN

My thoughts and prayers go out to AN. She recently made an important decision to decline a job offer from the University of Kansas. I won't elaborate on her reasons but I will say I think she made the right choice at this time. AN is very talented and gifted. Other opportunities will surface and at the right time.

KC Librarian
I recieved information from a fellow school-mate of ours and she sent me your blog site.
(She is librarian at phc in va and I work here in KCMO...)
I am sorry to hear of your Dad. I didn't realize we had so much in common. My inlaws lived in Denver and my husb. and I have visited many of the places you mentioned from your recent trip.
My parents were both in the ministry being involved in Home Missions. Dad pastored 3 churches but most of his work was at the headquarters of the mission they were with. My mother was the secretary to the director. The Founder and first director just passed away in April, w/ the service in Branson. It was going back in a time warp see people I had known as a child and some that I hadn't seen since that time.
I don't know much about blogs, so I don't know if I should put my email address here or not. I will not for the time being. You can find it through the consortium we both belong to - is you care to write back.
College classes are over for the summer and we are down to a skeleton crew. But we are working on summer projects. The storm a week ago did damage to the library's store room and the boys dorm on campust. So our time is also being used up dealing with that. That's an interesting situation - but I'll bore you with that later.
Did you see the new star wars movie?
