More focus on Colorado

I will drive directly to Colorado Springs on the first day. I would like to see "Garden of the Gods" and perhaps take a train ride up Pike's Peak. For my stop in Denver, I'm investigating the possibility of seeing the model train museum located in the suburb Golden.
