Too cold for planting

We had a thunderstorm late yesterday afternoon which also included a tornado warning for Platte County. It's considerably cooler today and my lawn is still wet so I don't think I'll be able to do any yard work. The weather forecast calls for a potential freeze on Sunday morning. I hope the items I have planted so far survive.
