Sad news from Dallas

I received a phone call at work today: the lady who painted my big painting in my living room has passed away. I only knew her for seven short years. She always made me feel welcome at her house in North KC. She was planning to paint a rendering of the San Juan Islands for me and I was planning to hang that painting in my bedroom, but.....

I will miss her.
