First time for everything

I'm not one for keeping a journal, but I thought I'd give it a try. I'm on vacation for two weeks here in Kansas City. I'm spending it reading and working on household projects.

I'm reading Truss' "Eat Shoots and Leaves" this week and I like what I'm reading so far. Truss makes it clear how we abuse our punctuations in the English language.
